Not sure about this one.  Would the government destroy the owners previous home?  I have a lot of issues w/ the Cash for Clunkers program.  Mostly that the government is destroying vehicles that people in need could use ie single parents who are struggling or people who can't get a job b/c they have no transportation.
I understand the government is trying to get the older vehicles off of the road to protect the environment, but these "clunkers" are going to end up in our landfills...how is that helping the environment?  Also, if they are pouring acid in the engines to ensure they can't be driven how is THAT helping the environment?  Seems like we have a government whom are just looking for quick fixes and not thinking their actions through completion.   Any thoughts?
